Why I bought WhiteSmoke

I initially bought WhiteSmoke because my writing skills were not as good as they could be. I didn’t even realize how bad my grammar and spelling was until I overheard my coworkers making fun of my writing in an email I had sent out to everyone in the office. I also became aware that my poor grammar and spelling might cause me to get passed up for a promotion, so I made the decision to improve my writing and grammar no matter the cost.

WhiteSmoke Installation and Use

WhiteSmoke was very easy for me to install and start using. The Whitesmoke installer worked perfectly and installed the program on my computer without any problems. Another great thing about this company is that they offer a WhiteSmoke free trial so you can try out the software before you buy it.

WhiteSmoke Writer checks structure, spelling, grammar as well as the general readability of your writing. It can check all these things while running in the background or you can load up the program and use it like any other word processor. In fact, WhiteSmoke is like a smarter version of Microsoft Word’s spelling and grammar checker.

What I really found helpful about WhiteSmoke was the way it checked my grammar and spelling anytime I wrote something. I could be commenting on a blog post, writing an email, or even polishing my résumé and WhiteSmoke would catch some very embarrassing errors of mine.

The WhiteSmoke Toolbar was especially helpful when writing on the web. Not only did the WhiteSmoke Toolbar check all of my spelling and grammar on the web, but it also translated web content that was written in different languages. This became especially useful when I happened to stumble upon web pages written in foreign languages. Before getting WhiteSmoke, I would have to just hit the back button and wonder what I missed, but now I can get an accurate translation of just about any content I want to view.

As you can see here, my writing is normally pretty bad. Luckily, WhiteSmoke caught most of my errors and even suggested some great changes for the vast majority of said errors. I was really impressed with the quality of this spelling and grammar checker, and also a little humbled when I realized how mediocre my writing skills were.

WhiteSmoke Enriches Your Writing

WhiteSmoke also makes a number of suggestions to further enrich and improve the readability of your content. It will suggest words in place of words used too frequently, and can also make suggestions to make your writing seem more polished and professional. For instance, if you begin a sentence with “and”, WhiteSmoke will suggest using words such as “moreover”, “furthermore”, and “moreover”.

This is not a terribly important change, as no one will make fun of you for using “and” to begin a sentence instead of “moreover”, but it does make you seem smarter when you use words like that.

Who Should Get WhiteSmoke?

I enjoyed using the WhiteSmoke software, and found it was particularly good at spotting typos as I wrote. It would sometimes get annoying, (a small window pops up in the right hand side of the screen as you type, when the software is running), so I usually turned it off when I was writing fiction or informal emails so I wouldn’t have to deal with these warnings.

WhiteSmoke really helped me to improve my grammar and writing skills. Just having a grammar checker constantly checking everything I wrote caused me to pay more attention to my writing. I have noticed dramatic improvements in my writing skills since I started using WhiteSmoke.

It can get annoying at times, because a little box pops up every time you make a mistake. If you find it to be unbearable, you can always just turn it off and use it only when you need it like I did.

The WhiteSmoke Translator was great for when I happened to find content in other languages. The translation was not perfect, but allowed me to read content I would not otherwise be able to and without copying and pasting into a web application.

I think WhiteSmoke would be an excellent tool for people learning English as a second language, or when writing academic papers. Whitesmoke Writer for business is an excellent option for anyone in the business world as it contains terms used in business and helps you write in the standard business format. People might find WhiteSmoke annoying or unhelpful when writing fiction, poetry, or informal emails.

In conclusion, I would say WhiteSmoke is very easy to use, and certainly much cheaper than paying someone to proofread your work. The price is definitely worth not getting a failing grade on an essay or getting passed up for a job or promotion for something as simple as bad grammar and spelling.
